About This Course

This course is focussed on an introduction to Production Organisation. If offers a set of tools for improving the efficiency of productive systems at different levels. In particular, the following topics are covered:

  • Analysis of costs and investments
  • Project management
  • Location of facilities
  • Stocks management
  • Production planning
  • Materials requirements
  • Operations programming

For each of the above topics, different quantitative tools are explained in such a way that learners can, at the end of the course, identify which tools for solving which problems can be applied. The course is prepared in a interactive format, with many short videos explaining the theoretical concepts followed by tests for self-learning assessment and open-answer practical exercises.

Requirements

The scope of this course is oriented towards university students but also production managers and workers of productive systems in SMEs. No specific skills nor knowledge are expected before starting this course.
